Happy Monday!
Last week, you built trust. The 5 moves. Care made visible. Maybe you're already running one.
Good. Hold onto that — we'll use it.
But today, let me ask you something uncomfortable.

👩🏻💻 You have a client.
🤝 Six months in. Maybe twelve. They've stayed. They've raised your rate (or you wished for it and it happened). They post about how great their team is.
In all that time — they've never introduced you to anyone.
And you've never asked.
😶 So you sit with two quiet thoughts:
"They would refer me if they really wanted to."
"Maybe my work just isn't good enough to refer."
Sound familiar, 'di ba?
💭 Both are wrong.
Here's the honest truth most VAs never hear:
Happy clients don't refer you because they're forgetful. Not because they don't value you.
They have their own businesses to run. Their own fires. Their own inboxes.
You're not top of mind every day — even when you're delivering great work. Even when they LOVE working with you.
Out of sight ≠ out of love. Yan ang totoo. It just means you're not in the front of their brain when someone in their network asks, "hey, do you know a good VA?"
🎯 What this week is about:
By Friday, you'll have:
The reason "great work" alone doesn't earn referrals (and what does)
The 3-message system that turns happy clients into introductions
A way to ask without sounding pushy, desperate, or salesy
The identity shift from "VA hoping for clients" to "VA whose clients bring new ones"
This isn't "hustle for referrals."
This is the opposite. It's making it easy for happy clients to do something they already want to do.
Try this: Today, just notice.
If you have clients: When was the last time one offered to refer you — without you asking? If it's been more than 3 months, you don't have a referral system. You have a referral hope.
If you don't have clients yet: When was the last time someone in your network (a past colleague, a group admin, a friend in business) introduced you to an opportunity without you asking? Same pattern. Same fix coming this week.
Don't fix it yet. Just notice. We'll name what's actually broken tomorrow.
A referral hope isn't a referral system.
Build the system with people doing it alongside you.
The Growth Plan ($29/month / ~₱1,760) gives you weekly Wednesday coaching with me, 100+ templates including referral asks and thank-yous, and 200+ Filipinas working on the same shift — from hoping to actually asking.
