Today, let me tell you what I actually look for when I hire someone.
Because I've hired a lot of VAs over the years.
And I've never once asked: "Did you use AI for this?"
💭 Here's what I DO ask:
"Is this done?" and "Is it good?"
That's it.
I don't watch you work. I don't check your browser history. I don't care which tools you used.
I care about three things. And if you get these right — I keep working with you.
🎯 Thing #1: SPEED
Did you respond within a reasonable time?
Did the deliverable come when you promised?
Fast doesn't mean rushed. It means reliable.
When I send you a task, I shouldn't have to follow up three times to check if you saw it. 'Di ba?
✅ Thing #2: QUALITY
Is the work clean? Professional? Did I have to redo it?
Quality means I can trust you without checking every detail.
I hired you because I DON'T want to micromanage. Kasi naman, if your work is sloppy — that defeats the whole point.
🔀 Thing #3: CONSISTENCY
Can I count on you to deliver like this every time?
Not just when you're inspired. Not just when you have extra time. Every time.
Because I need to know: if I give you this task again next week, will it be just as good?
✨ Now here's what's interesting:
AI directly improves all three. Grabe, ang laking difference.
Faster drafts = faster delivery
Better prompts = cleaner output
Templates + AI = consistent quality every time
The VAs I keep working with? They figured this out.

And honestly — I don't care WHAT those tools are. Basta the work is good.
