Happy Wednesday!
Yesterday you spotted the stuck-point — the place a brand-new person would get lost first in your process.
That stuck-point is your first SOP's most valuable section. And today you get the blueprint to build the whole thing.
5 components. 5 AI prompts. 3 pricing tiers. 1 simple workflow. Save this email. Screenshot it. Forward it. This is the playbook for the whole week.

🧭 1: The Overview (Purpose · Scope · Trigger)
What it is: The 30-second orientation — what this process covers, why it matters, when it kicks off, who owns it, and what "done" looks like.
Why it earns premium: Anyone new knows instantly whether this SOP applies to them and what success is.
What to include:
Process name + one-line purpose
Trigger that starts it
Who owns it
One-line definition of "done"
🤖 AI prompt:
"I'm documenting a business process for my client. Here's a brain-dump of how it works: [PASTE NOTES]. Write a clean SOP overview with: the process name, a one-line purpose, the trigger that starts it, who owns it, and a one-line definition of 'done.' Keep it plain and scannable."
📋 2: The Step-by-Step
What it is: The numbered sequence. Each step names the action, who does it, the tool used, and the expected output.
Why it earns premium: This is the spine — it turns tribal knowledge into something repeatable by anyone.
What to include:
Numbered steps
Per step: action, owner, tool, output
Plain language, no jargon
🤖 AI prompt:
"Turn these messy notes into a clean, numbered step-by-step for an SOP: [PASTE NOTES / SCREEN-RECORDING TRANSCRIPT]. For each step, state the action, who does it, the tool used, and the expected output. One step per line. If a step is unclear, flag it with [NEEDS CONFIRMATION] instead of guessing."
🔀 3: The Decision Points (If-This-Then-That)
What it is: The judgment branches and edge cases — what to do when the situation isn't standard.
Why it earns premium: This is what makes it a real SOP, not just a checklist. Captures the expert judgment that usually lives only in someone's head.
What to include:
2-4 common "if X, then Y" branches
What to do when something goes wrong
Who to escalate to
🤖 AI prompt:
"Based on this process [PASTE STEPS], help me identify the decision points and edge cases. For each, write it as 'If [situation], then [action].' Include what to do when something goes wrong and who to escalate to. Flag anything you're unsure about as [NEEDS CONFIRMATION]."
🗂️ 4: The Tools & Templates Map
What it is: Every tool, login, link, template, and asset the process touches — and where each one lives.
Why it earns premium: Removes the "wait, how do I get into X?" friction that makes most handoffs fail.
What to include:
Each tool/app used
Where the login or access lives
Links to templates/files the process needs
🤖 AI prompt:
"From this process [PASTE STEPS], list every tool, app, template, login, and asset it touches. For each, note what it's used for and where someone would find access or the file. Format as a simple two-column list."
✅ 5: The Quality Check (Definition of Done)
What it is: The final standard — how to verify the task was done right before it's considered complete.
Why it earns premium: Protects quality on handoff. The client's standard, documented — so a new person hits it without supervision.
What to include:
A short checklist of "done right" criteria (under 8 items)
The one mistake to never make
Who signs off (if anyone)
🤖 AI prompt:
"For this process [PASTE STEPS], write a short 'Definition of Done' quality checklist someone can run before marking the task complete. Include the single most common mistake to avoid and who signs off, if anyone. Keep it under 8 checks."
💰 The pricing framework:
Starter tier — $300-400 (~₱18,000-24,000): One simple, linear process. Components 1, 2, 5 only.
Standard tier — $500-600 (~₱30,000-36,000): One full process with decision points and edge cases. All 5 components. Default.
Premium tier — $700-800 (~₱42,000-48,000): A complex process or a small set of linked SOPs. All 5 + a short training/handoff note so a new person can run it solo.
Most VAs should start at Standard — or build the first one as a paid pilot on a process you already run.
⚖️ One thing to be honest about:
You're documenting what already happens, not redesigning the business.
If you're new to SOP work or building your first: pick a process you already run. Don't try to write an SOP for something you've never done — you'll invent instead of capture. And invention is where SOPs go to die.
If you don't have clients yet: document a public, observable process. How a creator publishes a YouTube video. How a small business processes an order. Portfolio piece done. It proves the skill before a client has to ask.
Either way, the SOP ends with a client review pass. "Here's how this process is documented — anything I missed?" That step isn't a weakness. It's the move that catches what AI got wrong AND makes the SOP theirs.
Need copy-paste prompts for the in-between conversations —
pitching the SOP, handling "can you explain step 4?" questions, the client review follow-up? The AI Reply Kit is free. 10 prompt templates that pair perfectly with the SOP workflow.

⏱️ The 2-3 hour workflow:
Step 1 — Capture the process ONCE. Brain-dump it into a doc for 10 minutes. Or screen-record yourself doing it and paste the transcript into AI. Or narrate it out loud on your phone and transcribe. Whichever fits your energy.
Step 2 — Run Components 1-4 through the AI prompts, one at a time, feeding the same capture.
Step 3 — Curate. Fix what AI got wrong. Resolve every [NEEDS CONFIRMATION] flag — that's the AI telling you "I don't know this part, ask the human." Never leave one unresolved.
Step 4 — Compile Component 5 (the Quality Check).
Step 5 — End with the client review pass. Send it. Ask what's missing. Adjust.
Master template build with AI: ~2-3 hours.
Per-SOP customization after that: ~30 minutes for each new process.
If you have active clients now: Pick the process you're secretly the only one who runs. Build the SOP. Propose it as a paid deliverable — or bundle it into a retainer upgrade.
If you don't have clients yet: Document a public process you can observe. Portfolio piece done.

"Build Your Client's SOP in One Hour — Live with Claude."
Mr. Troy takes a messy brain-dump and turns it into a client-ready SOP in real time. Every component you read about today — you'll watch him build it, in front of you, in one hour.
If today's email felt like a lot to hold in your head — tomorrow night makes it real.
Try this: Pick ONE process you run (or a public one you can observe). Brain-dump it into a doc for 10 minutes — messy is fine.
Then run Component 1's AI prompt on it. In 5 minutes you'll have a clean SOP overview — the first section of a $300-800 deliverable, started.
Don't try to build all 5 components today. Build Component 1. Then come to the webinar tomorrow night for the rest.
