Yesterday you looked at your profile. Maybe you cringed a little. 😅
Today, let's see what "strategic" actually looks like — so you know what to aim for.
I'm going to show you two profiles. Same person. Same skills. Different positioning.
📄 Profile A — Task VA:
"I am a reliable virtual assistant with 3 years of experience. I can help with email management, data entry, calendar management, and research. I am hardworking and detail-oriented."
📄 Profile B — Strategic VA:
"I help busy founders get 10+ hours back every week. I handle inbox, research, and client communication — and I use AI tools to deliver faster without losing quality. You'll get organized updates, proactive solutions, and work that's done right the first time."
🤔 Same person. Same skills. So what's different?
Task VA: Lists what she DOES.
Strategic VA: Describes the OUTCOME for the client.
Yun lang. That's the shift.
✨ Key phrases that signal "strategic":
"I help [WHO] achieve [RESULT]"
"You'll get [BENEFIT]"
"I use [METHOD] to deliver [OUTCOME]"
Notice — hindi siya nagbebenta ng tasks. She's selling transformation.
Clients don't buy "email management." They buy peace of mind. They buy time back. They buy "one less thing to worry about."
💭 You're not lying. You're translating.
Everything in Profile B is TRUE. It just speaks in client language instead of VA language.
Task VA: "I do email management." Strategic VA: "Your inbox will never be a mess again."
Same skill. Different packaging. Iba yung dating.
Try this: Look at your profile again. For every task you listed, ask: What does the CLIENT get out of this?
"Data entry" → What does that give them? (Accurate records? Clean reports?)
"Research" → What does that give them? (Faster decisions? Better options?)
"Email management" → What does that give them? (Peace of mind? Nothing falling through cracks?)
Write down the outcomes. Tomorrow, we'll turn them into a new profile.
Rewriting your profile is step one. Having proof to back it up is step two.
