Two weeks ago, Meta launched Muse — a personal AI agent that lives inside WhatsApp (and its own app). It doesn't just answer questions. It browses websites, fills out forms, sends emails, books travel, even pays — and keeps working after you close the chat.
Free tier, paid plans on top. US-only for now — and it's already hit No. 1 on the US App Store, overtaking ChatGPT.
🔍 Why this one is worth your attention:
It lives where your clients live. This isn't a tool on some website — it's inside the messaging app billions use, including your clients. When agents sit in the chat window, "AI that does tasks" becomes normal to them very fast.
Look at its task list. Forms, emails, bookings, follow-ups — 'yung classic busywork lane. That lane is commoditizing. Not today, not completely — but the direction is clear. The judgment lane isn't commoditizing. You built that one.
Even Meta put a leash on it. Every Muse runs with a second "Sentinel" agent approving what leaves it. The whole industry keeps re-learning the same design: an agent needs an approval layer. Sa client work, that approval layer is you.
💭 The honest verdict:
Worth knowing. Not worth panicking over — and not worth chasing. You can't even use it yet (US-only, walang PH launch date).
The point isn't the app. It's what it signals: your clients' sense of "what AI can do" is about to jump again. The VA who can talk about agents calmly — directing, approving, checking — speaks the client's new language before they've even learned it.
Try this: Write the one sentence you'd say if a client mentions Muse or "AI agents" this month: "Yes — agents like that handle the busywork. My job is making sure everything that reaches you is right."
