Happy Wednesday!

Monday we talked about the guilt.

Tuesday we covered what clients actually measure.

Today — the hands-on part.

How to use AI and still sound like YOU.

📧 Because here’s the problem:

You paste something into ChatGPT. It gives you a draft. You read it and think… “This sounds fake.”

So you don’t use it.

Or worse — you spend 30 minutes rewriting it until it sounds like you. Which takes longer than writing it yourself. Grabe. 😅

💭 But here’s the thing:

AI doesn’t HAVE to sound robotic.

The reason it sounds fake? You’re accepting the first draft as the final draft.

Here’s the 3-step process I use. Takes 60 seconds. Makes AI sound like me every time.

Step 1: Give AI YOUR context

Don’t just say “write an email.”

Tell it who you are, who you’re writing to, and what tone to use.

Try this: “Write this like a friendly Filipina VA updating her client — warm pero professional. Use simple English. Sound like a real person, not a corporate email.”

That’s it. Ang laking difference sa output. 🎯

Step 2: Edit the first 2 sentences

The opening is where “AI voice” is strongest.

Read those first two sentences. Do they sound like something you’d actually say?

If not — rewrite them in your own words. Kasi naman, the opening sets the tone for everything else.

🔄 Step 3: Read it out loud

Seriously. Read it like you’re leaving a Viber voice message to your client.

Would you actually SAY those words?

If something sounds too formal or stiff — change it.

I call this the “voice note test.” If you wouldn’t say it in a voice message, don’t write it in an email.

💡 Try This:

Copy-paste this into ChatGPT next time you need to write something:

“Rewrite this in a warm, professional tone. Use simple English. Sound like a real person talking to a colleague, not a formal business letter. Keep it under [X] sentences.”

Then do Steps 2 and 3.

The goal: AI does 80% of the work. You add the 20% that makes it yours.

Hindi na kailangan mag-guilty. You’re not hiding anything — you’re using a tool and making it sound like you.

P.S. Tomorrow we’re settling the “is it cheating?” question once and for all. Because honestly, that guilt needs to go na.
