You ask AI something. The answer comes back clean and confident — a specific number, a named source, a firm "yes, do this."
Parang alam na alam niya.
So you use it.
Later, you find out: it was wrong. Not vague-wrong. Not "close enough"-wrong. Confidently, specifically wrong.
😮💨 Here's why it stings:
It wasn't a lazy guess you should've questioned. It was polished. Certain. It came with a number and a name.
You couldn't tell from the tone.
And that's the problem — because tone is what we all use to judge whether someone knows what they're talking about.
💭 The insight that runs all week:
AI sounds exactly as sure when it's inventing as when it's right.
Same smooth voice for a true fact and a made-up one. Its confidence isn't a signal of accuracy. It's just its default setting.
Which means the polished, specific answer isn't the safe one. Minsan, 'yun mismo ang delikado.
🎯 And no — this isn't Week 1 again.
Week 1 was the habit: AI makes mistakes, so check the work.
This week is the sharper trap: the mistake that doesn't look like one. The confident wrong answer — the one that slips past you because it sounds so sure.
