Happy Wednesday!

Monday: we talked about the 47 AI tools overwhelming you.
Tuesday: I told you what I look for when hiring — not what you know, but what you're learning.
Today: here are the 5 AI skills that actually matter.

📋 Not tools. Skills.

Skills work across any tool. They stay useful even when the tools change.
Here they are:

  1. AI-assisted writing
Emails, captions, summaries — the stuff you do every day.
Why: It's the most common VA task.
Tool: ChatGPT (free version works fine)

  2. AI research
Client research, competitor analysis, data gathering.
     Why: Saves hours. Impresses clients.
     Tool: ChatGPT or Perplexity

  3. AI for content repurposing
Turn one piece into many — blog to social to email.
Why: Multiply output without multiplying time.
     Tool: ChatGPT + Canva AI

  4. AI for task automation
     Templates, SOPs, repetitive workflows.
Why: Work smarter once, save time forever.
Tool: ChatGPT for templates, Notion AI for docs

  5. AI for client communication
     Professional replies, difficult conversations.
Why: This is what we covered last week. It's the foundation.
     Tool: ChatGPT

💡 Here's the thing:

You don't need all 5 right now.

Pick one. The one that matches what you already do for clients.

Learn it this month. Then pick the next one.

One skill per month = all 5 skills by June.

That's the whole plan.

🎯 And here's what makes this different from chasing tools:

These skills stay with you. Even when ChatGPT updates. Even when new tools launch.
The skill is what clients pay for. Not the tool.

Try This:
Look at the 5 skills above.
Pick the ONE that matches your current work.

  • If you send a lot of emails → start with #1 or #5.

  • If you do research for clients → start with #2.

  • If you create content → start with #3.

  • If you do admin work → start with #4.

Write it down. That's your February focus.

Tomorrow, we'll talk about the fear that stops people from starting.

Already know which skill you're starting with?

I made a free 10-day AI course that covers the foundations — the 3 tools behind most of these skills. It's the fastest way to stop watching from the sidelines and actually start.

P.S. Can't decide which skill to start with? Reply to this email and tell me what you do for clients. I'll tell you which one to pick.
