I call it the Monthly Value Report.
Steal it. Use it this month. Watch what happens.
📝 Step 1: The Wins Log (30 seconds a day)
Open a doc. Every day, drop one line: what you did and what it led to.
"Drafted 3 cold emails → 2 replied → 1 booked a call."
"Cleaned inbox → flagged 4 urgent items boss missed."
That's it. 30 seconds. This is your ammunition for the monthly report.
🤖 Step 2: The AI Summary (5 minutes, end of month)
Paste your wins log into ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever AI you use. Then this prompt:
"Here are my wins from this month: [paste log]. Summarize these into 5 key outcomes my client will care about. Make it short, specific, and client-focused. No jargon."
AI turns your messy notes into clean talking points.
📧 Step 3: The 5-Point Email (5 minutes)
Subject: "[Month] recap — what we shipped"
Structure:
Opening: "Here's a quick look at what happened this month."
Top 3 wins (with numbers)
1 thing I'm watching for next month
1 question for you
Close: "Let me know if you want to chat about any of this."
Short. Scannable. Client-focused. Send by the 1st of every month.
📈 Step 4: The Quarterly Deep-Dive (every 3 months, 20 minutes)
Same format — but zoom out. What changed over 3 months?
This is where rate increases happen without you asking for one. When clients see compounding value, they stop questioning your price.
💬 Step 5: The Relationship Touch (1-2x a month)
Short message. Not about work.
"Saw your post about [X] — congrats!"
"Hope the [event] went well."
30 seconds. Months of goodwill.
Try this: Open a doc right now. Title it: "[Client Name] — Wins Log." Add 3 wins from this week. Even if you're scrambling to remember — write them down.
That's your start. By June 1, you'll have a full report ready to send. No scrambling. No "ano ba ginawa ko?"
